On Tuesday the Women's Legal Centre Trust welcomed the Constitutional Court's judgement to recognize the Muslim Women's right to equal protection in marriage. 24 Months have been granted to the state to remedy the breach by either enacting new legislation or amending the existing legislation. The Muslim Judicial Council also welcomed the decision by the Apex Court. Sheikh Dr Muneer Abduroef, spoke to VOC Breakfast.
